buzzing         in my skull
caught   in my nebulous
silver lithium city-scapes.

I'm afraid to sneeze in case I let you out
I hold my breath when my nose    itches.

I won't let you go because I like the way you
         bump
against the walls of my      cranial          vault.

                        secret
(thump)
                               bee, all my own,
                                    buzzing against the gnashing teeth
                 of coldly cutting gears    spinning in my metal     garden.

                                                   Stay, bee.

                                                    You are
              my last dream of flowers blooming here in rust and steel
                                        my last hope of spring.
