'Reflection, Refraction' by ~Elmara:iconElmara:

“That was how crazy he was,”
trembling hands, clasped in her lap.
“He said (oh) in a breath:
Come out, I’ll reward you
bykillingyouquick

and in the next (gasp) breath:
I just want to ask
a few questions, babe.

Oh crazy and I believed
both things at once.
So tell me,
who’s the craziest?
Huh,
who’s the craziest one?”

I read both of your poems - and this is one was the one that I liked the most. call it the macabre side of me - call it my love for desperation, this one means more to me. The way you rearranged the words was quite lovely.

It's a good book...one that really stuck out to me, though my favorite has to be Pet Semetary.
